At Salini Designing, we prioritize quality and customer satisfaction. Here’s our policy on refunds, cancellations, and returns:

Returns: We accept returns only in the case of damaged products. Currently, we do not offer return or refund policies for other reasons. If a product is damaged, we will issue a full replacement. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in its original packaging, and you must provide the receipt or proof of purchase.

Quality Assurance: Every product undergoes a thorough quality check before it’s packed and dispatched. Therefore, no return or exchange is allowed unless the customer receives a damaged, incorrect, or wrong-sized product (different from what was ordered).

Reporting a Complaint: We will entertain complaints only if reported within 24 hours of receiving the parcel and only based on a 360° unboxing video.

Unboxing Video Requirements: The video must be unedited, uncut, and uninterrupted, starting from the beginning and showing the address details on the parcel. The issue or defect must be clearly visible in good lighting.

Minor Manufacturing Defects: Minor defects, such as loose threads, do not make the product eligible for return or replacement.

Color Variations: Slight color differences are possible due to photographic effects and do not qualify for returns or exchanges.

Return Process: We do not offer a return pickup facility, so the parcel must be sent back to our address by the customer.

Free Replacement: A free replacement will be provided within 7 days if the product is delivered in a defective or damaged condition or is different from the ordered item. Otherwise, no return or replacement is available.

How to Start a Return

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item. This allows us to evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted, you can make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds/Cancellations

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return/cancellation request and inform you whether it has been approved. If approved, you will be automatically refunded within 5-7 business days on your original payment method. Please remember that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Returns & Exchanges for Sarees

Returns and exchanges for sarees can be tricky, but we strive to give you the best products and avoid the hassle of returns or exchanges.

Conditions for Returning a Saree:

• If there is a defect, our team will perform a quality check. If a defect is found, the cost of the product, along with shipping charges, will be refunded.

Issues Not Considered Defects:

• Small knots or bumps in threads where broken threads are pieced together.

• Uneven threads connecting the border to the body.

• Slubs, which are residual threads bundled together in tiny knots.

• Minute gaps in and around motifs.

• Dye ‘bleeding’ onto the pallu from the body, common in powerloom sarees.

• Loose threads in Bandhani sarees used for tying and dyeing.

• Color mismatch due to photographic effects and device settings. If in doubt, please check with our team regarding the color of the product.

Issues Considered Defects:

• Tear in the saree.

• Incorrect length (different from what was stated).

• Missing blouse piece (if mentioned as included).

The Return/Exchange Process

• You can return the item for store credit or exchange it for the same or a higher-priced product.

• If you’d like to return a product, send us an email at salinidesigning@gmail.com with your concern within 3 days of receipt of the product.

• Once we confirm that you would like to proceed with the return, please ship the products back to us within 7 days of receipt. If you have any concerns regarding the duration or nature of the return, feel free to email us.

• For returns on international shipments, the buyer is responsible for shipping costs and any applicable customs charges.
